It's LeiEd's mission to empower students and families through personalized educational advocacy, expert guidance, and collaborative support. We strive to ensure every learner has equitable access to resources, opportunities, and strategies that foster academic growth, social-emotional development, and lifelong success.
Ages 0–4:
We provide guidance and support for your child’s development from infancy through preschool, including:
- Addressing concerns related to your child’s growth and development
- Connecting you with Early Intervention programs for screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Supporting you during IFSP (0–3) or IEP/EP (3–4) meetings at school
- Sharing information about therapy service providers
- Assistance with the creation of individualized educational plans
- Suggesting recreational activities and programs for babies and toddlers
- Guiding transitions from early education to Kindergarten
- Offering workshops to increase knowledge about your child’s special needs and the laws and regulations that protect your child and family
Ages 5–12:
We provide guidance and advocacy to help your child thrive, including:
- Understanding how the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) can support classroom success
- Assistance with the creation of individualized educational plans
- Explaining how a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Social Emotional-Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP) can improve academic outcomes
- Determining eligibility for services and supports under IDEA & Section 504
- Advocating for appropriate accommodations and supports through an IEP or 504 Plan
- Reviewing and recommending revisions to your child’s IEP as needed
- Providing guidance and support for a smooth transition into Middle School, recognizing the unique challenges of these years
Ages 13–21+:
We provide advocacy and guidance to help your teen succeed in school and in preparing for life after graduation, including:
- Understanding how Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP) support overall success
- Determining eligibility for services and supports under IDEA & Section 504
- Ensuring your child receives appropriate accommodations and supports through an IEP or 504 Plan
- Reviewing and revising IEPs as needed
- Guidance on graduation requirements for a standard diploma or a diploma via Access Courses
- Supporting post-secondary planning, including college, vocational training, employment, and independent living options
- Accessing Vocational Rehabilitation services and related supports
- Program options for students/adults with disabilities after age twenty-two

Dr. Sol Rachi Cordido is an educational advocate and the founder of LeiEd, where she supports students and families in navigating the education system and accessing equitable learning opportunities.
Dr. Rachi Cordido holds a Doctorate in PreK–12 Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University, a Master of Arts in Intellectual Disabilities and Autism from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in K–12 Exceptional Student Education with a minor in Reading from Miami Dade College. She has extensive experience working with students and families across Florida, New York, and Connecticut.
Through personalized guidance and student-centered advocacy, Dr. Rachi Cordido partners with families and schools to develop strategies that support students’ academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and long-term success.
